Today I went with the boy-toy to go see the thrilling movie Taken. After hearing such wonderful reviews about it from my friends and from the news, I decided that I was ready to go see it.The story is about an ex-government agent Brian (Liam Neeson) and his journey to find his kidnapped daughter after she is taken and sold to a slave dealer. The movie supplies the viewer with plenty of suspense with the hand-to-hand combat scenes, the car chases and the gun fights. My favorite scene of the entire movie I will say is when the daughter is actually taken - the way they give you a moment of false hope that she won't get taken and then BAM! She is dragged by the legs out from under the bed.
So for those of you who love movies that are suspenseful, thrilling, and have a well developed storyline - this is your movie. Cheers to its director Pierre Morel for doing such an amazing job. I was definitely impressed. Happy movie watching kids!
